True

The path ahead is rough, but thank goodness for the GPS! (Look out for Forrest)

It's true what they say. People usually aren't the same as they are in written form, on paper, or when you talk to them face to face. It's also true about how first impressions are important, but it varies whether they are right or wrong. Some people are unforgettable, and some are...we've met? If you were to look at my resume, you'd see that I've done a lot of community service and have been a part of lots of different groups and organizations. When you meet me for the interview, sometimes it is goes well sometimes it doesn't. My good interviews have included great insight into myself and my past and what could come in the future, bad interviews have had me saying things I thought they wanted me to say, and in the end I would break down in sweat and a red face from being guilty of trying too hard. Time and time again, I've learned to just be myself.

As I grow older and life gets more challenging and complicated, I find I apprec
iate more the people I love and the people who I care about and those that care about me. Someone I can comfortably talk to, that's good enough for me. I feel sorry for people who constantly try to play a part they are not. They constantly change what they say, don't mean what they mean, and possibly spread their despair (def: lose all hope or confidence).

I've also learned to be true and honest with myself. There's no point in b
eing cocky or thinking I am one way when I am not. But why stop there, take an honest look at myself and see what I can improve on. I really like considerate people, I think they are amazing, so how about I try to be the same. I don't like if when you eat loudly, so I'll try not.

I learned a lot by living with Misfortune (def: may apply to either the incident or conjunction of events that is the cause of an unhappy change of fortune or to the ensuing state of distress) or Mischance (def: applies especially to a situation involving no more than slight inconvenience or minor annoyance). Don't sweet talk me, Adversity (def: applies to state of grave or persistent misfortune).

Thank goodness for those weekend getaways in paradise (def: place or state of bliss, felicity, or delight)!
